Social Content Manager

Our Client is a digital creative agency founded on the principle of cutting out unnecessary agency fluff in favour of urgency, expertise and a no-fuss attitude.

They have offices in London and the US and employ specialists covering Strategy, Creative, Social & Web Content, Advertising, Digital Experiential, DOOH, UX and SEO.

The successful applicant will have:    

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience running and managing paid media campaigns for brands in an agency or in-house  
  • Commercial experience with major social channels (Facebook, Twitter, Google+, Instagram etc.)  
  • You must be comfortable drawing insights from performance data  
  • Be proactive rather than reactive – be the first person working on the campaign to spot optimisation suggestions and new ideas to achieve KPIs  
  • An ability to manage stakeholders including clients, internal teams and third parties  
  • Experience in asset production, where you’ve worked with creative & production teams on the creation of social media content  
  • Excellent verbal, writing and communication skills  
  • The ability to think on your feet, take responsibility and identify new areas and opportunities which we can explore as an agency  
  • Meticulous attention to detail and ability to pick things up at lightning speed    

Your duties will be:    

Client Management:  

  • Manage the client’s day-to-day organic and paid social media marketing activities across multiple channels including campaign planning, implementation, budget management, performance review, and optimisation of campaigns  
  • Prepare and present client campaign performance reports  
  • Participate in strategic discovery to understand client requirements and implement solutions to meet these requirements  
  • Working alongside the rest of the client services team, in managing projects and communicating with the client    

Content Management:  

  • Advise and implement best practices and procedures for campaign setup, ad trafficking, creative ideation, development, execution, optimisation & reporting  
  • Work with the creative & production teams on the creation of social media content for the channels  
  • Understanding client KPIs and analysis of results to identify actionable opportunities  
  • Exploring new and emerging social media platforms and opportunities as well as advertising tools and products  
  • Staying up-to-date with social, digital and technology trends
